REA has been appointed by Sapura Clough Projects to carry out structural design of a subsea Rock Bolting Rig. The rig will install stabilisation anchors along the 59.4 km DomGas pipeline between Barrow island and the mainland, in water depths up to 22 metres. The self-guided and self-levelling rig will carry up to 10 rock bolt assemblies in a reloadable cassette. It will be supported by the offshore fleet vessel Java Constructor.
